All About Me
My Journey
Hi, Im Abbie, the Instructor and Therapist at In Bloom - Bump to Baby. I started the business after a traumatic pregnancy and birth. There were gaps in my care and I didn’t want any other woman to feel the way that I did. So I trained as a Postpartum Care Practitioner to gain the qualification to help all new mothers on their journey. I had already trained in massage as this was a keen interest for me. So I also decided to offer a full round package, from bump to baby.
I am not a franchise and I am not a big company. However, I am hard working and always strive to offer the best service at competitive prices. Trying to ensure I’m providing the service you are requiring.
I am the only person in my business,
this means I can tailor your appointments to suit your individual needs. I am able to be more personable with you and if you need more time, I can give that to you.
I worked in the NHS for 10 years prior to running my own domiciliary company for 5 years. Now I am here wanting to make a difference to expecting mothers and new families.
Massage is a powerful tool that can be used as a natural healer. I povide a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I am always looking to integrate new treatments and therapies into my practice and believe that continued learning is important for any good Massage Therapist.
Making a difference one person at a time

Antenatal Massage
This treatment is suitable from your 2nd trimester and pregnancies with no added complications. It is a hands-on body treatment that leaves you feeling relaxed and renewed. I love showing my clients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health and well being. It is recommended to have regular pregnancy massage sessions to eleviate the aches and pains pregnancy can cause. This can be once a month until 27 weeks, and twice a month until 36 weeks. After that, it is recommended that you transition to weekly appointments until you give birth.

Improve skin texture
Help calm and relax both parent and baby
Boost parents’ confidence in handling their baby

Helps you to produce more milk if breastfeeding
